Winemaking

About Nigel Kinsman

We were introduced to Nigel in 2019 by close friends and immediately bonded with him. We were taken by the the clarity of his vision for making exceptional Napa wines, his deep knowledge of the Valley, and his sense of humor. Nigel began his winemaking career in his native Australia before venturing to Italy and finally coming to the Napa Valley. He led the red wine program from 2010 at Araujo Estate before transitioning to his current role as winemaker at Accendo Cellars. He is also the consulting winemaker for a few other labels and, with his wife, Shae, produces the highly regarded Kinsman-Eades wines.

Nigel crafts the Annulus wines at the Green-certified Wheeler Farms Winery. Stylistically, Nigel seeks to create wines that are classically proportioned, balanced, and deliberate expressions of time and place.
