This single-vineyard designate Cabernet Sauvignon continues to be sourced from the western bench of the Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard, at the base of Spring Mountain. Our interpretation of this historic 25-acre site offers a refined showcase of the distinctive graphite and wet-stone minerality that gives it its name. The 2023 vintage unfurls notes of black cherry and black currant, nuanced by warming elements of coffee, cassis, and a whisper of dried lilac and lavender. It is both commandingly rich and balanced, with supple tannins that create an elegant, full-bodied wine with a long, sinuous finish.
